Electrical Assembler and Tester 1st shift MIlwaukee, WI
Our client conveniently located on the NW side of Milwaukee is adding to their team with a 1st shift temp-to-hire Assembler/Tester for their electrical production team. In this role you will assemble, test and perform quality checks with documentation on assemblies as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Follow assembly procedures per specifications. Drill, tap, or ream holes as required. Aligns components, and bolts, screws, or rivets together as specified on blueprint and other work instructions.
-Tests or assists in testing operation of completed product.
-Utilizes lifting equipment as needed.
-3 months minimum experience in electrical assembly is required
-Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to co-workers and management.
-Requires the use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of decimals and fractions; work from drawings, specification and formulas involving limited detail.
-Working experience with power and hand tools is a must; read and interpret blueprints, schematics and assembly drawings; Use tape measure and electrical testing devices.
-Ability to stand for you shift as required. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with assistance as needed.
You MUST have an Electrical Assembly background and troubleshooting is a plus but not required.
Hours: 5:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m. Monday Thursday and 5:00 a.m. 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
$17/hour + starting or possibly higher depending on experience, plus bonus when eligible. Submit pay requirements.
